Birds located in this area.

And of course we can't forget about those flying creatures that fly through the Great Basin, Plains, and semi-desert grasslands in the Arizona area.

To begin we have the western kingbird, a bird that is known to be a flycatcher. They are a grey-olive color with some light yellow or orange in their belly area. By reading their name you can tell that they obviously are usually located more towards the west.

Another bird to mention is the red-tailed hawk, a bird of prey. It is known as the "chickenhawk," in the United States even if it rarely preys on chickens. They are a blackish brown color in most of their body with a red-colored tail.

A new bird to mention in these areas is the western scrub jay. This bird has the color of blue with a white-colored body area. It is of course a bird that sticks to the west as much as possible. This is another one of the birds you could have the chance of finding in these grasslands, especially in the Great Basin.
