Plants located in the Sonoran Desertscrubs.
In the Sonoran Desertscrubs, there are a variety of different plants you can find. The first plant I will mention is the saguaro cactus, an arborescent cactus species in the monotypic genus Carnegiea, which can grow to be over 20 m tall. It is quite common to find in this area.
Now that we're here talking about plants, let's not forget about trees. The mesquite tree is a very common tree to find in these areas. They are native to southwestern United States and Mexico. Believe it or not, it is actually one of the most expensive types of lumber in the U.S.
Finally, we can mention the palo verde tree. This tree is native to southwestern United States and Northwestern Mexico. It has this name to represent "green stick" which reefers to the green chunk that the tree has, something that is quite unique.
