Mammals located in the area.
Through the three different biomes within the grassland type, there are a very similar variety of communities found within them. Of course I will start off with the types of mammals found in these grassland areas. To start off, we have the mule deer. Mule deers are found in most of these threee types of grassland, with them usually weighing about 190 pounds.
Another type of mammal found in these grasslands is the coyote. The coyote is found in the desert grasslands in Arizona. It is a carnivorous mammal that usually weighs 15-46 pounds, with the speed of 43 miles per hour. These mammals aree known to be huntrs with their good sense of smell, vision, and hearing.
Last but not least we have the badger species. These are more common to find in the Great Basin area. It is a small mammal that has a light brown color and can resist the venom of rattlesnakes as long as they are not bitten on the nose. They are known to be good for pest control since they feed on rodents.
