In the grasslands, there always three types of plants you are pretty much guaranteed to find. Let's take a look at those plants.
First off, you are almost guaranteed to find the prickly-pear, or Opuntia cactus somewhere in these grasslands. These plants usually grow big and flat, with green color and of course a lot of prickles. This can be used as food and even medical uses.
Next up is the yucca plant. The yucca plant is a taller plant that can be used as a food source for animals. These plants have a good pollination system where it relies on yucca moths to transfer pollin from plant to plant.
The century plant, or Agave americana is another common plant in these three biomes. It is a plant native to Mexico, Texas, and of course Arizona. Parts of the plant are edible and they tend to live for 10 to 30 years.
